Pearrygin Lake I

We went to Pearrygin Lake for our annual camping trip during the first week of this month - along with several families from our church, Gail, Brad's family and some friends of theirs. It was a great week!

On the way, Pastor Bill had a flat tire on his tent trailer, so Lon jumped in to do what he does best - HELP others!! He should have been wearing camoflage instead of the black clothes!!

Pastor and Sharon took three of their grandkids with them for the week, and we stood in the shade of the trailer while the repair work was being done.

Our friends, Dave and Helen Ellingson, called as we were enroute to the lake, asking about camping possibilities as they were going to meet their daughter Abbie on Monday night for some camping in the area where we were headed. We told them to come on and pitch their tent on our site. They did, and Abbie joined us on Monday and part of Tuesday before they moved on to a more primitive site. They came into town for a traditional "ice cream evening" at Shari's in Winthrop. Pictured here are Gail, Helen and Abbie.

More of the group - Brad, Wesley, Ellie, Hailey, Aaron, Elliott & Janet.

Here's Abbie posing to create the illusion she's riding Leo, her dog. She was pretty happy about it, don't you think?

Hap brought his boat and insisted that everyone get a turn driving it - seemed to think it was no fun if one didn't get to drive. Gail and I thought that was just silly, but he still made us drive!!
