Yes, it's been awhile since we've posted anything -very busy times around here!! So, here are a few pictures to give a feeling of what things look like in our life during this spring of 2007 in East Wenatchee. The first is a closeup of our dogwood tree - yet another Mother's Day gift that I'll be leaving for someone else when we move.
This is the lot next to our new house - a beautifully manicured garden, maintained by Eunice and Perry, our neighbors in the house you see in the picture. This will be the (ever-changing) view from my mom's bedroom window - and from the south end of our deck - when we live there.
Yesterday (5/9/07) concrete was pumped onto our deck for a stamped surface - and also was poured for the front porch and steps. The sheetrock should be delivered tomorrow and its installation will begin very soon.
Workers stamping the design into the concrete at the entrance to the house.
Brad, Lindsey and the boys came over for the evening last night, and we got a couple cute pictures - the first one of Spencer surveying the progress on the new house...

...and this one of Elliott posing for Grandma beween the studs. He and Wesley enjoyed "walking through walls." If all goes as planned, they won't be able to do that next time they come!

The house really is coming along!
Great update mom... but no pictures of your strawberry pie? That was delicious!
Yes, great pictures! Wow, things have progressed. When we had the drywall in I was ready to move in! But, alas, it wasn't for some time afterwards, all the finishing stuff seemed to take so long,
--but it was worth it. : )
