Yesterday was Lon's 9th round of chemo, and he is doing amazingly well! His CA19-9 count was down once more - to 20 this time, and he is feeling pretty well.
By accident on Monday night he forgot to take his pancreatic enzymes before dinner - something he has needed since late August to help with digestion and ward off pain. After dinner he realized he hadn't taken them, and he had no negative effects!! This was HUGE! He even ate a big bowl of ice cream after that without the enzymes, and he still felt fine. His oncologist said that indicated that the duct from the pancreas must now be "open" - no longer affected by the tumor - that his own enzymes are now helping with digestion.
We are so thankful for all the prayers and well-wishing from so many! We give God all the praise for this evidence of healing and increased strength.
