May Day
It is time to post something for those of you who check here for updates. Lon is doing pretty well with the chemo regimen - in the midst of week two of another three week series - and with just some edema and fatigue as side effects. He often answers people's inquiries about how he feels with the statement, "I can't complain." Then he says, "It wouldn't do any good." :-)
We have enjoyed having Gail here with us, though she recently took a quick trip to visit her dear friends, the Burlesons, in San Antonio. The void was filled by a visit from Lon's brother, Terry, down from Petersburg, AK for a few days. They have been having fun talking about "guy stuff" and spending some time with brother, Gary. I just sent them off to look at the cars displayed at the park in preparation for the Apple Blossom Festival Classy Chassis Parade tonight.
From 2006, here is a picture of Lon with Brad & Lindsey's two oldest boys, Wesley (L) and Elliott (R), as they awaited the Classy Chassis Parade.
Thanks to everyone for your prayers and concern for us over the last 20 months!! Yes, God has been so gracious to us and we know we are tremendously blessed!!
