Gail arrived in Seattle from Papau New Guinea for her year of home assignment with New Tribes Mission. She will be visiting supporters and churches as well as reconnecting with her family here. Yay!!! We met her at Carol and Toby's after Lon finished his chemo treatment that day, and we spent a couple nights, since our longtime friend, Shirley, was arriving the next day from California to visit for six days. She has always been "Aunt Shirley" to our kids - and now to theirs.

We were honored with a visit from a dear friend from our high school and early married days, Jessie Carlson Stopsen, a couple days after getting back home with Gail and Shirley. It has been over 15 years since we have been together, and we had an encouraging time of fellowship.
