Last week (as Gail was finishing up her school year in PNG and preparing to take a vacation in Australia) our other two children and their families met with us for a couple days of camping at Lincoln Rock State Park. The weather was considerably better than on the west side of the mountains - but not uncomfortably warm. Summer doesn't seem to have hit in earnest over here yet. Everyone is READY for it, but we're still waiting. Yesterday afternoon was the first time this season I walked out of a store into the parking lot and felt that familiar "warm air" feeling that makes us appreciate our vehicle's air conditioning in the summer.
Spencer - so thrilled to be sitting atop a "big" two wheeler!

Our campsites...the younger generation stayed in tents, while the grandparents had the comfort of the trailer. It was the first time out for us in the newer trailer, and we thoroughly enjoyed it!

Croquet, anyone? The kids loved playing it with Grandpa!

We are so looking forward to camping, this weather needs to cooperate though! What a fun family time!
