Continuing Treatment - Continuing Positive Reports!

Lon's blood tests today showed the CA 19-9 tumor marker number was one point less than two weeks ago (13 today) and other things looked good.  He still has a couple annoying side effects with numbness in his feet and fingers being more pronounced, but for the most part he is feeling pretty well a few days after the initial dose of chemo.  Today marked the beginning of his 14th round.

We're all keeping a pretty good attitude about this.  Our son Brad and family were visiting on Saturday night, and as they were getting into the car I mentioned that Lon had another treatment on Tuesday.  Brad smiled and asked if anyone had called Lon "Chemo-sabe" yet?  Get it? Like Tonto and the Lone Ranger?  We loved it!!

We are thankful to God for an exciting opportunity that has opened up for us, and for Lon's renewed health making it possible. We will report more on that next time - after it has taken place!  Thanks once more for all your prayers, love and support of us on this journey of faith!!
