Happy, Happy!!! Today we met with Dr. Smith (oncologist,) and got the report that Lon's tumor marker was down to 63 -
from 153 two weeks ago!!! (Normal range
is 0-35) He is feeling good and received his 38th chemo treatment this afternoon. Another drug was added over a month ago when
that number started rising, so this is an indicator that the new drug is
"working." Other evidence of it killing the fast growing cells (cancer) is that it is also killing the hair generating cells, so he has now joined the ranks of the hat-wearers.
We know it is all in God's hands, and He continues to
show us His great mercy !!!
